Delicious and Easy Hot Dog Topping

Happy New Year!

I’m having a lazy day in on this lovely — yet gloomy — day after New Year’s holiday. I’m sure glad it’s 2017, and the New Year is fresh and filled with tons of potentially wonderful opportunities on the horizon. There were parts of last year that were great, however it definitely wasn’t an easy year to say the least. So, I’m going into the New Year filled with hopefulness and optimism that wonderful things are going to happen.

I will have to say, I did quite a bit of cooking and baking from Thanksgiving through Christmas. I made (and ate) way too many cookies. But, I have to admit, I love making food that others will enjoy. I’ve even broadened my baking horizons this year.

Now that the holidays are over, I want to skip the remainder of winter and jump right ahead to the Spring. I know it will be here before I know it, so in preparation for that, I will be including one of my barbecue recipes.

I made this on a whim one day, which I happen to do quite often. This is extremely simple and takes an easy ten minutes to make from start to finish.

My fiancĆ© was a bit skeptical when I whipped this up during one of our dinners where I made bratwurst on hot dog buns — with this as the topping. He gave me a funny look, then took a bite, and his eyes widened.

Now every time we grill bratwurst or hot dogs, this is an automatic add on.

I hope you enjoy!

I know we do!
